Commercial offices

Enterprise-grade office WiFi, CCTV and access control for Melbourne business.

In a commercial environment, your network is the lifeblood of your operation. Whether it's a high-density office in the CBD or a tenancy in the suburbs, we design and install technical ecosystems that prioritise uptime, security and scalability. For commercial clients, technology should be invisible — it simply needs to work.

  • Hundreds of concurrent devices without the afternoon slowdown
  • Guest, staff and IoT traffic on separate, secure paths
  • After-hours and weekend rollouts, zero disruption to your team
  • As-built drawings, credentials and staff training at handover

The problem

Offices don't outgrow their network. They outgrow the plan.

Most office networks were sized for the day the business moved in. Since then the headcount has grown, every person carries two or three devices, video calls run all day, and the printers, HVAC controllers, sensors and TVs have all quietly joined the same flat network as the finance server.

The failure modes are predictable. Meeting rooms drop calls because two access points sit in the wrong corners of a floor plate and fight each other. Guest WiFi shares a lane with payroll. An unmanaged switch in a comms cupboard runs at capacity with no visibility of which port is doing what. Nobody knows which cable goes where, so every change becomes an exploratory dig. And when the ISP drops out at 10am, the whole floor stops — because there was never a second path.

The physical security side usually lags further behind. Keys circulate, ex-staff never hand them back, and the cameras that exist record the car park but not the server room door. The fix isn't more gear — it's a design that treats network, cameras and door access as one system with one audit trail.

What we install

From the front door to the server room.

We specialise in bridging the gap between high-level IT networking and physical electronic security — one design, one contractor, one handover pack.

High-density WiFi

Networks capable of handling hundreds of concurrent devices — staff laptops, VoIP phones, tablets and automated machinery — with WiFi 7 hardware where the density and client mix justify it.

View the hardware

Gateways and VLANs

Secure VLAN segmentation puts internal business data, guest WiFi and IoT devices such as HVAC and printers on completely separate, secure paths, with firewall rules between them.

View the hardware

Redundant internet

SD-WAN failover with 4G or 5G backup so the office stays online during a primary ISP outage. The failover is tested at handover, not assumed.

View the hardware

Cameras and analytics

AI turret and bullet cameras providing crystal-clear 4K coverage of receptions, floors, loading docks and perimeters, recorded locally. NDAA-compliant hardware for sensitive commercial sites.

View the hardware

Door access

Replace physical keys with manageable access control on UniFi Access or Hikvision — fob entry, mobile credentials and audit trails, integrated with intercoms and custom door hardware from the front gate to the server room.

View the hardware

Cabling and racks

Cat6, Cat6A and fibre installations with neat rack builds and meticulous labelling. Every port tested and documented. Desk and floor-box runs coordinated with your fit-out program.

View the hardware

Switching

PoE switches sized against real load — APs, cameras, readers and phones — with the power budget checked before purchase rather than discovered on install day.

View the hardware

Phones and VoIP

Desk phones and handsets running on the network you already have, on their own VLAN with QoS so a call doesn't degrade because someone started a large upload.

The commercial advantage

Built around your trading hours.

You're buying an installation and a handover, not a box of hardware and a business card.

After-hours and staged works

Flexible scheduling, including weekend and after-hours rollouts — zero disruption to your team.

Structured cabling specialists

Professional Cat6/Cat6A and fibre installations with neat rack builds and meticulous labelling. Every port tested and documented.

Handover done right

As-built drawings, admin credential handover and staff training as part of our standard completion package.

No hidden fees

High-performance systems with zero ongoing subscription costs for basic recording or network management.

What happens next

Fit-out or upgrade, same sequence.

Book a free site walk-through and we'll design, install and document the whole stack — WiFi, CCTV and access control.

  1. Step 01

    Site walk-through

We walk the tenancy or facility with a WiFi analyser, assess construction materials, count device load and check what existing cabling can be reused.

  2. Step 02

    Design

AP locations, switch capacity, VLAN structure, camera and door schedules and cabling routes — documented and given to you before work starts.

  3. Step 03

    Cabling

Cat6/Cat6A back to a central patch panel, rack built and dressed, every run terminated, tested and labelled. Roughed-in before walls close on new fit-outs.

  4. Step 04

    Install

After-hours, weekend or staged rollouts. Hardware mounted, doors fitted, cameras aimed against the coverage plan rather than by eye.

  5. Step 05

    Configure and test

VLANs tagged, WPA3 where supported, guest portal, QoS for voice, failover tested, cameras in Protect, readers enrolled, then a full throughput and roaming test.

  6. Step 06

    Handover

As-built drawings, admin credential handover and staff training as part of our standard completion package.

FAQs

What office managers ask us.

Can you install without shutting the office down?
Yes — after-hours and staged works are how most of our commercial jobs run. Cable pulls and rack work happen outside business hours, cutovers are scheduled for an agreed window, and we keep the existing network live until the new one has been tested.
How do you keep guest WiFi away from our business data?
Secure VLAN segmentation. Internal business data, guest WiFi and IoT devices such as HVAC and printers run on completely separate, secure paths with firewall policy between them. Guests get bandwidth limits and no visibility of anything internal.
What happens if our internet drops out?
We can configure SD-WAN style failover with a 4G or 5G backup service, so the office stays online during a primary ISP outage. See the cellular and failover hardware we use, and tell us at survey which systems must never go dark.
Can access control integrate with our existing doors and intercom?
In most cases, yes. We install commercial door controllers on UniFi Access or Hikvision and integrate them with intercoms and custom door hardware. Where a door has existing mag locks, strikes or a fire interface, we work with your builder or locksmith so the fail-safe behaviour still complies.
Do we need a rack, or can it live in a cupboard?
A wall-mounted cabinet is fine for a small tenancy; anything with serious port count, a recorder and failover belongs in a proper rack with ventilation and a UPS. We'll tell you which at survey and quote the enclosure with the job.
Is there an ongoing subscription?
No subscription is required for basic recording or network management. Remote monitoring and an SLA are optional extras, quoted separately.
