A console to record to
Video from an intercom or doorbell needs somewhere to live — a UniFi console running Protect, or an NVR.
A PoE switch
Most intercoms and doorbells are powered over Ethernet rather than needing a separate supply at the gate.
Door release hardware
If the intercom is going to actually open the gate or door, it needs a lock and controller behind it.
